The Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams-fronted series will get a visit from perennial TV guest star Larry Sullivan, I have learned exclusively. Details on the appearance are scarce for now, but his appearance will occur in the thirteenth episode which is scheduled to air in January. The episode will tape at the beginning of December.

The Crazy Ones was recently picked up by CBS for a full season and has seen appearances from Josh GrobanBrad Garrett and Ed Asner during its initial run. Airing Thursday nights at 9pm, the series is the season’s #1 new comedy in viewers, (13.71 million viewers) consistently winning its time period.

Sullivan is best known for his ten-year run on CSI as fan-favorite Officer Akers (with his next appearance to air this coming Wednesday, November 20). His other credits include recurring roles on Body of ProofSwitched at BirthDays of Our Lives, and appearances on Modern FamilyGrey’s AnatomyRush Hour and Castle.
