The Good Wife is a show that leads the pack in its world building skills. The revolving door of guest actors that populate the series never quite feel as stunt casting or a gimmick, but rather three-dimensional intriguing characters that fit right in with the show’s all-star ensemble.

On October 20, CBS’ The Good Wife will see many of the show’s fan-favorite recurring stars delve right back into the action. The episode, “Outside the Bubble,” airing at a special time (9:30-10:30) will see the return of Sonja Sohn‘s Sonya (last seen in Season One), Emmy winner Carrie Preston (as the complex and entertainign Elsbeth Tascioni), Rita Wilson‘s diva attorney Viola Walsh, Mary Beth Peil‘s high-strung Jackie Florrick, and Gary Cole‘s Kurt McVeigh (seen in images below). This season has been off to a great start and judging from the following photos, Christine Baranski‘s Diane Lockhart will have a bit of a much-needed romantic encounter after the continuing turmoil inside the firm.
