Breaking: Christina Ricci Books ‘CSI’ Role

Posted on April 5, 2011

Golden Globe nominated actress Christina Ricci is making a return to TV with a very juicy role on CSI.

Ricci, who is well known for her performances in films such as Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Sleepy Hollow, and The Addams Family is returning to the small screen for the first time since her guest-arc in Saving Grace back in 2009.

In this season’s penultimate episode of CSI, Ricci will fill the role of Conrad Ecklie’s (Marc Vann) estranged daughter. A member of the Los Angeles police department, Ricci’s character does all she can for the Las Vegas crime lab when the Nate Haskell (Bill Irwin) investigation takes them to the land of the stars.

CBS could not be reached for comment on the news, but sources tell me that at this time Ricci is only booked for one episode. However, with the impending departure of Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger), I’d say the possibility of her coming back to fill a void is quite likely.
