Sometimes a little information goes a long way, and while these items may not constitute a lengthier write-up, they definitely deserve some attention. And with that I bring you the first ever ShaneSSaunders.com Scoops and Snippets.

This season on CSI multiple actors have been in-and-out of episodes, most notably Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows), Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle), and Paul Guilfoyle (Captain Jim Brass). As the season grows closer to the finish line CSI writer Christopher Barbour reveals to me who will be missing from the final 5 episodes and says: “I sincerely hope fans of all the characters will tune in to each and every episode.  It’ll be quite a ride to the end of the season.”

Episode 18 this season will feature the entire cast; episode 19 will have series regulars Marg Helgenberger and Eric Szmanda (Greg Sanders) M.I.A.; the following episode regulars Jorja Fox and Wallace Langham (Hodges) will not be present; episode 21 Paul Guilfoyle and David Berman (David Phillips) will not be present; and in the season finale you can look forward to seeing the entire cast.

If you’re desperate for some Desperate Housewives scoop, here’s something that should hold you over until the show returns from hiatus: Paul Young (Mark Moses) will be dealing with the aftermath of Beth’s (Emily Bergl) death in a relatively emotional fashion. A source tells me that he will begin suffering from depression, and that someone on the Lane is still trying to see him meet his doom. Will he meet his doom? I don’t know… but for now I’d say that whomever is poisoning him is doing a pretty good job at trying!

Rizzoli and Isles‘ will incorporate flashbacks to explain what events happened after last season’s shooting. When the series’ returns Jane (Angie Harmon) still hasn’t been cleared for duty.
